Which Megalopolis feature the live talking-to-the-screen scene?

See Adam Driver Respond to a Real Person in “Megalopolis” Screenings!

Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis” is making waves with a very unique feature: during a particular scene, Adam Driver’s character answers a question asked by a real person, live during the screening. This is happening in select “Ultimate Experience” screenings mostly at IMAX locations during its opening weekend (September 27 & 28).

This affects moviegoers looking for a truly interactive and out-of-the-ordinary cinematic experience. It seems like Lionsgate is trying something new to generate buzz and potentially draw larger audiences, particularly as “Megalopolis” has already been a topic of discussion due to its unique premise and cast.

Unfortunately, these special screenings are very limited. Out of approximately 1,700 total screenings, only 34 across Friday and Saturday will feature the live interaction. The rest will utilize a pre-recorded voiceover instead. For those lucky enough to attend a live screening, there’s even a chance the question-asker will be chosen from the audience or theater staff!

If you’re curious to see which theaters offer “The Ultimate Experience,” you can find a list on IndieWire.
