‘Ted Lasso’ to Return to Apple TV+ as Season Four Allegedly ‘Confirmed’

Holy Smokes, Folks, Ted Lasso Ain’t Done Yet!

So, apparently, that whole “believe” thing wasn’t just a catchy slogan for AFC Richmond, because Apple TV+ may actually believe in Ted Lasso enough for a fourth season! That’s right, the heartwarming, fish-out-of-water comedy that charmed its way into our pandemic-stricken hearts might be coming back for more.

Now, Apple hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet. But according to a writer at MacStories and podcast host, Sigmund Judge, he’s got it on good authority that “Ted Lasso” is set to start pre-production in January in jolly old London.

This is huge, folks. “Ted Lasso”, starring Jason Sudeikis as an American football coach coaching a British soccer team, it’s not just a show, it’s a cultural phenomenon. It raked in awards, it dominated water-cooler talk, and it arguably single-handedly kept the mustache industry afloat. So, a fourth season would be a big win for Apple TV+ in their battle for streaming supremacy.

The third season ended back in May, and fans were wondering if that was it for the Diamond Dogs. But if this news is true, it looks like we’ll be seeing more of Ted’s folksy wisdom and Roy Kent’s signature grumbling.

This is the kind of optimism the world needs right now. It’s like finding a biscuit in your tea, unexpected but delightful. We just gotta wait for Apple to make it official, but in the meantime, I’m gonna start practicing my best “football is life” chant.
