Brian Cox, the “Succession” star, takes on “Lord of the Rings”!
Brian Cox, known for his powerful role in “Succession,” is venturing into Middle-earth! He’s lending his voice to the new “Lord of the Rings” prequel, “The War of the Rohirrim,” an anime-inspired adventure. Cox will voice the character of Helm Hammerhand, the King of Rohan.
At the New York Comic Con, Cox discussed the film, revealing that his portrayal of Helm Hammerhand will still possess his signature Brian Cox touch. When asked about his character’s motivations, Cox simply stated, “Yeah, he’s called Hammerhand.”
During the panel, Cox also shared a personal anecdote about dealing with bullies in his childhood. When pressured to fight a classmate, he cleverly outsmarted the bullies by pretending to beat himself up, ultimately getting them to leave him alone.
“Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim” is set to premiere on December 13th. It promises to be an exciting addition to the “Lord of the Rings” universe, with Brian Cox’s involvement sure to draw fans of both the actor and the franchise.
