That’s right, folks – if you’re rocking an iPhone or iPad with iOS 17.4 or later, you can now read along with your favorite podcasts in Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Swedish.
Now, Apple’s being very clear here – these aren’t your fancy AI-generated transcripts. No, this is good old-fashioned human-powered transcription, which means no need for a device with Apple Intelligence support.
This is good news for podcast lovers who prefer to read or who might have trouble understanding spoken language. It also opens up podcasts to a wider audience. More listeners means more opportunities for podcast creators, which could lead to a more diverse and exciting podcast landscape.
